You know that old Bob Seeger song "Main Street"? That's what comes to mind when I think of this place. Visited with my partner last weekend when I was back in town. Happy to learn that this place closed. It wasn't always bad, but last time I was there- last November, it was the gay bar equivalent of a toilet. Thanx for the memories.

Think that sounds appetizing? Try Muggs. A word of caution. Don't touch anything so you don't get hepatitis.
What gay life does not have to be like anymore
Parking is limited. Street is dangerous after dark. Drug deals. Hookers. Creepy feeling. Not worth the risk to health and car. When I see this bar as I drive to work, I feel good that most gay bars are not like this anymore. It must have been hell being gay in the 1950s.
Dick cheese sammich
Muggs retains the lovely aroma of an unwashed uncut dick. This gentleman personally loves a good unwashed uncut dick. I must confess, however, that the aroma of this particular bar strikes my nostrils harshly. If you like to savor cock cheese, suck the real thing and don't patronize Muggs.
