Flats East Bank will host Cleveland’s inaugural Flats Festival of the Arts this August! Notable local and national artists will exhibit and sell their work by Cleveland’s waterfront, Aug. 18-21.
The weekend kicks off with an EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW of the Flats Festival of the Arts on Aug. 18 with H.E.L.P.'s premier event, Bites, Booze & Boogie. Join in the celebration of live music and dancing, exclusive samplings of fine wine, cocktails and cuisine from over 30 of Cleveland’s top local restaurants as you enjoy a “first look” at the Flats Festival of the Arts. The event will be held on Thursday, August 18 from 6:30 p.m. to midnight. (Artist preview 6:30-8:30 PM.) Your ticket also gets you into the after-party hosted by FWD Day + Nightclub Cleveland and Magnolia Cleveland.

The Flats Festival of the Arts will then be open to the public for the entire weekend Aug. 19-21 as patrons enjoy the unique craftsmanship of each artist featured throughout the Flats East Bank. From ceramics to woodwork, to photography and painting, there will be hundreds of artists displaying their work from around the country. The Festival will also feature many of the region's most talented musicians and dancers. A wide selection of food and beverages will be available including Flats East Bank's onsite dining and entertainment establishments.
Flats Festival of the Arts Hours:
Friday, Aug. 19 - 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 20 - 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 21 - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A weekend pass is just $10 (plus a small processing fee) and can be purchased online here: bit.ly/FFOTAtickets OR you can get tickets for $8 at participating Discount Drug Mart stores. (Tickets will be available for $10 at the door.)
The Flats Festival of the Arts will support Cleveland School of the Arts, a specialty arts school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for students grades 8-12, and H.E.L.P., a nonprofit organization devoted to developing a pathway for children living in rural regions of Africa.
The 2016 Flats Festival of the Arts is partnering with Aloft Cleveland Downtown, Cleveland Magazine, Drug Mart, Graeter’s, Great Lakes Brewing Co., iHeart Radio, Medical Mutual, Port of Cleveland, SweetWater Brewing Company, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Wells Fargo Advisors and WKYC.
