where is it?
I tried looking for it, with no luck. I've tried on 2 separate accounts and neither time was able to find the place. Then i found a place that looks like it COULD HAVE been Twist. It's abandoned and shut down now, next to Geppeto's on the corner. Was that Twist?
ok place. best in cle sad to say
Nice place but the music is so loud that you can't hear ppl around you. Bartenders have a lot of attitude and wait on you when they feel like it. Owner is nice but needs to check on his staff to see how they are treating customers
Nice place to chill
Not usually my kind of bar, but after a long night of clubhopping or to start things off, Twist is the classiest place you will find in C-Town. Also conveniently located on the "gay strip" of Clifton Boulevard, right down from Lakewood. Go for conversation or the dance music, but not to hook up, unless you are a twink, because you will be drinking alone.
A nice place to wind down
Not a bar to party, but OK for relaxing or calming down after a night or weekend of clubbing. They try to pass themselves off as some sort of dance DJ mecca, but in reality the music is only so,so. Big attitude from bartenders and customers. One bartender was flirty, but he soon left, and this very unfun crew presided over things. A generally harmless place in a safe neighborhood, but no excitement. Hotness meter: wannabe Abercrombie types.
Better than most, but that's not sayin much
An OK place for a drink or two when you're getting started or wrapping up a night. Not a place to spend the whole night. Bartenders can be arrogant. Customers are cliquish. In other words, typical yuppie twink gay bar. I'm tired of writing bad reviews. Can't wait until somebody opens a decent, fun, cool bar without all the attitude and high prices. Is it possible???
