A DUMPSTER
The bartenders here are socially inept...they ignore most of the patrons...they dont say hello when you walk in the bar or even acknowledge your presence while you are at the bar...the other patrons are loud and obnoxious...only saw 1 or 2 guys even close to being called attractive...most of the crowd looked drugged out and unhealthy in my opinion... dont waste the time energy or money to patronize this place.
2 much drama
more drama happens at the hawk than at any other bar in cleveland. chris b has his drama mostly dealing with gross str8t bar skanks and loud drunk customers. troy can have his drama with drunk guys who hit on him and get spurned. couple of weeks ago a drunk barqueen threw a hissy fit and overturned a garbage bin in a jealous rage over troy. no more drama. if i want that i will stay home and watch a soap opera
where flies go to breed
the hawk is not clean but it is fun. chris is hot yes. hes like an indie bottom but fun. no other bartenders there are hot though. true the hawk smells but the kind of men who go there smell. as a leather man that doesnt bother me. it is kinda blue collar but lot of guys are offce workers and stuff who try to look like blue collar. when its hot it can get grungy and smelly too much and lot of bugs fly in but if you meet a hot man than it doesnt matter so much and sometimes the men can be real hot if you like bears and men like them.
a hole in the wall
The hawk is what it is a hole in the wall where real men go.It is what you make of it I've gone here for years on and off.I can say it's safer and cleaner as well as no huslers in the bar or drugs.Beers are reasonable priced juke box is good. It's the only gay bar I can go to without being hassled for playing heavy metal in the juke box. It's not a place for twinks or drama queens it's a neighborhood bar for the working blue collar guys to relax and drink there beer it is clean also bartenders are good too Chris is the best. There are no nazis in this bar they arn't gay. It's a real mans mans bar for people 30 and over not the twist or bounce crowd. At least I can go hear and not have to hear that god aweful lady gaga crap or getto hip hop rap noise.
