Not Too Bad

hit the blackout party they had last night -- not too bad. The biggest problem this bar still has is its neighborhood; it's the roughest spot of any gay bar in cleveland.

this is now a trannie bar

cocktails has morphed into a new incarnation of a gay club. the last resort of a gay club is when it appeals to the freakiest of gay people. in this instance transexuals. who knows if theyre tarnsexuals transvestities or whatever. they are full grown ugly men in womens clothes from the 1950s. a pathetic strip show with superskinny twinks ruins friday nights about 10 o clock. the leather days of this place are long gone and probably never to return. i give it 2 stars as it has lots of room and some friendly bartenders.

i like men not boyz in girlz clothes

ok i understand that crossdressers and trans people want and need a bar to chill at but why here? a leather bar is supposed to serve the wants and needs of the leather community. if you tried to go in a leather bar in chicago new york or other big city you would be told to leave if you showed up in a dress or high heels so im askin why cant leather people in cleveland have the same experience? im not against trannies or crossdressers but its not hot and not what i wnat to see. cocktails should stop callin iteself a leather bar if its not goin to up hold the leather rules. leather stallion aint leather mans world is not and nether is the hawk. whycant we have one real leather bar where men look and act like men not girlz. why does every bar in this city have to be for everyone? cant men have a bar just for them? i dont go to a gay bar to meet straight girls or guys who wan to act like them. so to the guy or crossdresser below im sorry but not all of us wnat to go to a leather bar to see crossdressers and i dont car if your a woman in a mans body or whatever a man in a dress and makeup is still just a man in a dress and makeup. thats not leather and real leatehr men dont want it.

strangely quiet on a saturday night

convenient location between ohio city and lakewood but few customers. saturday is drag city...gag. and this is supposed to be a leather bar. guess leather in cleveland no longer exists in bars but only online. bartender james is cool but most of the rest of the staff and the customers leave much to be desired.

biding my time

a nice bar but crowd is thin most nights. neighborhood is not the best by any means but not as trashy as mans world area. park near the bar and keep keys in hand to be safe. same guys every weekend. have a good jukebox, bartender james is cool, and never any drama like the hawk. hope it will pick up soon.
