Horrible Hell Hole
This place is about finished. It has turned into a ghetto hell hole and is a fright to visit after dark. We only stop on Sunday afternoons now, just to visit.
Never Again!
I used to love this bar and ould patronize it frequently...NEVER AGAIN. The staff is rude, the security guard is a joke. He confiscated my bottle of water as I tried to leave. I checked the law and it says no alcoholic beverages may leave the premises...he said it is all open containers and this is NOT the law. It is hot in there. We paid money to hear the jukebox and couldn't hear our music because the door to the bar next door was propped open so we shut it. The stupid security guard came and propped it open becuse he said it was too hot to keep it closed...THEN TURN ON THE AIR. RUDE RUDE RUDE...i will take my business to other cleveland bars. I will also not be supporting CLAW this year as long as they are affiliated with this disgrace of a bar. The area is not safe and people have been attacked...and security is more concerned about me leaving with my bottled water than for peoples' safety.
Rundown
Not pretty, that's for sure. The crowd was on the skanky side. The bartender ignored me when I tried to order, so I went over to the Tool Shed side. The guys were not exactly friendly. I got bored fairly fast, so I didn't stay past a half hour or so. A lot of men over 40. Definitely not for younger guys. Worst of all, the surrounding streets are scary. Bounce is right down the block, but don't go far past Bounce, or past Man's World in the other direction. Cars are broken in to more often than not. Exercise caution, or go during happy hour if you have to go at all.
This is not the Punch Palace
When you go to A Mans World you won't find those fruity drinks and Pretentious Patrons like at Twist. No you'll find neighborhood men that enjoy a good drink and good friends. The crown doesn't down there noses at visitors no matter what there age size or color. Untrue of many of the alternative bars in Cleveland.
